Launch of Football, Kabaddi, Archery and Athletics academy & Archery Training Sub Center and Synthetic Track & Field will be inaugurated
Raipur- Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is going to give a big gift to the players and sports lovers of the state tomorrow on 25th September. Shri Baghel will inaugurate and perform Bhumi Pujan of new sports facilities in Bilaspur and Raipur at a cost of about Rs 42 crore 14 lakh. These mainly include academies for football, kabaddi, archery and athletics, two sports hostels, an archery training sub-centre and synthetic track & field for athletics. Chief Minister Shri Baghel will attend the inauguration-bhoomipujan ceremony of these sports facilities virtually from his residence office. The inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony will begin at 12 noon.
Chief Minister Shri Baghel will inaugurate 180 seater residential and 190 seater non-residential academy in Late Shri BR Yadav State Sports Complex in Bilaspur. Apart from this,Chief Minister will inaugurate 400 meter synthetic athletics track & field in Bilaspur at a cost of Rs. 9 crore 20 lakh, 50 seater sports hostel for boys at a cost of Rs. 2 crore 82 lakh, sports hostel for girls at a cost of Rs. 4 crore 75 lakh, Archery Training Sub Center Shivtarai and Kabaddi Academy along with administrative building at a cost of Rs 4 crore 47 lakh.
Chief Minister Shri Baghel will perform Bhoomipujan for the construction of Kabaddi Indoor Hall costing Rs.4 crore 94 lakh, gallery, pavilion and floodlight at the cost of Rs.15 crore 96 lakh in Bilaspur. The Chief Minister will also inaugurate Late Shri Koduram Verma Memorial Archery Academy, Football Academy for girls and Athletics Academy in Raipur.
